Hip osteoarthritis

The hip osteoarthritis is a degenerative disease and of "wear and tear" that occurs most frequently in people of advanced age, but that can also occur in younger people due to previous injury to the hip. The cartilage wears out gradually decreasing the protection of the bones.

The osteoarthritis of the hip  it is a degenerative disease and of "wear and tear" that occurs most frequently in people of advanced age, but that can also occur in younger people due to previous injury to the hip. The cartilage wears out gradually decreasing the protection of the bones.

Osteoarthritis of the hip, usually develops slowly and the progression of the pain tends to follow the same progression, although it can present with irregularities spontaneous (osteoarthritis primary).

Sometimes osteoarthritis is due to previous injuries of the hip both ligamentous such as bone or cartilage, accelerating the onset of symptoms (osteoarthritis secondary).

As therapy can help with Stem Cell / PRP?

This treatment of Regenerative Medicine is in lesions of the articular cartilage, muscle, tendons and ligaments, as it allows you to improve recovery times.

Also, if administered in injuries in tendons and muscle, reduces the healing times.

The advantages of the cells mesenchymal stem cells and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is that:

  • It offers an alternative therapy, non-surgical, to the reconstructive operation in certain injuries, such as, for example, tendinopathies chronic rupture of ligament, osteonecrosis and tendinopathies chronic or acute.
  • Prevents the formation of fibrous tissue in the recovery of muscle injuries. The use of plasma rich in growth factors also help you to recover earlier than usual.
  • Stimulates the regeneration fibrocartilage injury osteocondrales, ligament, tendinitis, acute or chronic, and in the pathology of the patellar tendon.

What is the treatment protocol?

The protocol of Stem Cells, involves extracting a small sample of the patient's own adipose tissue within a room of high biosafety using local anesthesia in a time of 15 minutes.

Once you have obtained this adipose tissue, is processed with a system of ultra-filtering and fragmented, to obtain a biological product called Microfragmentado of Adipose Tissue or Nanofat.

This product contains 40% of mesenchymal cells, in addition to other properties that generate anti-inflammatory effects on the articular cartilage and all of its adjacent structures such as tendons, ligaments and muscles.

The procedure takes approximately 45 minutes, with same-day outpatient discharge.

The protocol PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) consists of extracting a sufficient blood sample. Subsequently, this is processed in a system of high technology creating a hyper decongestive of Platelets, in an environment of high biosecurity, and then re-injected into the patient a dose of >10 billion platelets.

All treatments of Platelet-Rich Plasma, are always quantified in terms of the values of platelets, which makes our therapy is practically 99% different to that of other centers regenerative

The procedure lasts approximately 45 minutes, with same-day outpatient discharge

As administered Mesenchymal stem Cells or PRP?

All of our products in regenerative medicine are administered locally, under fluoroscope in vivo or ultrasound portable wifi.

How long will it take to see results?

The results of the regenerative treatments begin to be able to be observed in each patient between 15 days and 2 months, although there are cases that the reports begin to be targets between 6 and 12 months.

Like all medical procedures, procedures, Stem Cell Therapy, Argentina® have a rate of success and failure. Not all patients have the same results.
