In his dissertation entitled “Argentine Insights on MFAT for Knee OA: Safety and Feasibility,” Dr. Fernández Viña will present follow-up data from patients treated with adipose-derived stem cells (MFAT). The results are impressive: at 12-month follow-up , 80% of patients experienced a significant improvement in their quality of life, with reductions in pain, increased mobility, and greater ability to perform daily activities. These findings highlight the safety and feasibility of this regenerative therapy for knee osteoarthritis, positioning Argentina as a pioneer in mesenchymal stem cell treatments in the sports and orthopedic field.
