The 4 steps of our mesenchymal stem cell treatments for knee osteoarthritis

In this Blog, we are going to tell you about our regenerative treatments for those patients with degenerative osteoarthritis who are looking for a therapeutic option different from the conventional one to improve their quality of life and who do not wish to undergo a prosthesis replacement surgery treatment.

Step 1:“Medical Consultation” with our team of regeneration specialists.

Throughout Argentina, we have groups of specialists in the regenerative area, so each of them will respond to your medical consultation to see whether or not you are a candidate for treatment with our protocols.

The consultation may be directly in person or you can make a virtual consultation, if you are far from our locations. If you accept, we will send you a detailed budget with the requirements to perform the procedure on the scheduled day.

Step 2: You will arrive at our clinic on a scheduled basis, and we will perform the“Adipose Tissue Extraction“. This step consists of obtaining in the appropriate room under bio-safety conditions, a small and specific sample of adipose tissue from your own body, under minimal local anesthesia. You will be talking with our team, without feeling the slightest discomfort. This procedure lasts approximately 15 minutes.

Step 3: In the same room, once the adipose tissue has been obtained, our medical team proceeds to“processit. This step is very important for the treatment to be successful. The objective is to perform a series of specific protocols in order to obtain the mesenchymal cells from the patient’s own adipose tissue. This step lasts approximately 15 to 18 minutes.

Step 4: Consists of“applying” the mesenchymal cells by a simple injection into the joint(s) to be treated. This step lasts approximately 4-7 minutes.

Once this non-surgical outpatient procedure is performed, which takes about 90 minutes in total, from the time the patient is admitted and leaves the clinic on foot, our medical team will perform a medical follow-up, for at least 6 to 12 months, to evaluate the results of the procedure, in order to obtain the greatest possible benefit to improve the quality of life.

At Stem Cell Therapy Argentina, we offer the most advanced treatments worldwide to regenerate articular cartilage and improve the quality of life of our patients.
