Stromal Vascular Fraction (SVF) + Hyperconcentrated Platelet-Rich Plasma (HPC)

The regenerative treatments from REGENERÓN Regenerative Medicine are minimally invasive and very effective, as they are applied directly where tissues need repair and respond quickly to the regeneration process.

This regenerative treatment called ProStromal is a well-known procedure in Regenerative Medicine and Cell Therapy that is performed on patients with Osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee, hip, ankle (articular cartilage lesions), and more advanced muscle tears, mainly in Professional and Amateur Athletes.

ProStromal is obtained through a fat sampling of the patient, better known as MELA (Mini Ambulatory Lipid Extraction). The MELA is processed in our GMP (Clean Manufacturing Room) laboratory to obtain a concentrate of different cells, mainly Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs), with potential regenerative effects.

ProStromal is a concentrate of autologous cells, meaning they are obtained from the patient themselves, and helps drive repair and regeneration processes. In addition to promoting the recovery of the damaged area, it helps control inflammation and pain, potentially improving people’s quality of life.

What is the ProStromal procedure like?

The procedure lasts approximately 2.5 hours in total and is performed on an outpatient basis, allowing the patient to continue with their normal life, as no hospitalization or post-operative care is required.

– Obtaining the concentrate is a procedure that is done fresh, that is, at the same time (POINT OF CARE Therapy)

– It has the advantage of promoting the regeneration of damaged structures, controlling inflammation and pain, improving people’s quality of life by an average of 70% in a period of 6 to 12 months.

– It offers a concentration five times higher than other similar alternatives, such as bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC).

– The Stromal Vascular Fraction generates repair and regeneration processes with efficacy and safety demonstrated by International Scientific Publications (https://www.gidbio.com/american-journal-of-sports-medicine-to-publish-results-of-an-fda-approved-clinical-trial/)

Procedure

The entire process, from obtaining the fat sample (MELA) to the infiltration of the ProStromal product, takes approximately 3 hours maximum and is performed entirely in our facilities. The procedure is individualized and specific, minimally invasive, outpatient, and personalized for each patient, following standardized protocols and guaranteeing patient safety.

The treatment is part of an integrated Regenerative Medicine plan that also includes Regenerative Kinesiology and Regenerative Rehabilitation.
